Those morning walks...

Heard about the moon coming closest to Earth? Have you ever wondered about the sun and the circle of life, and not just Earth, that revolves around the sun?

If you wake up early as 6 am (or before that) when the sun has just risen, you may see people walking in the streets. Every wondered why people go for a walk in the early morning? It is the most refreshing walk you could get; a walk that could rejuvenate, just like an early morning swim or an early morning yoga could do. I don't walk at that time, neither do I swim; but those are the activities which are worth sharing.

Why is it refreshing? The just risen sun is the safest to look at; it has the perfect blend of rays (by perfect blend, I mean lesser UV rays and thus, no harm). It is refreshing to the body and your eyes. If you are the fan of yoga or a practitioner of yoga, go for that Surya Namaskar, the most practised yoga exercise.

Also, if you place a glass of water exposed to those sun rays and drink the same, it is also very good for the body. That is the reason ancestors have passed on the tradition of offering tulsi (herbal leaf) water to the sun and drinking it. Now you should be knowing what to add to the water :)

The Screen Play

Take a look at the films in the past decade and notice how much they have changed as time unfolds. You could notice the change in the pattern of filmmaking. One particular challenge in film making is the art of screenplay. The recent trend of the film industry is to put forth a screenplay that has been used only in thrillers earlier. In thrillers, the storyline will not be clear until the first twenty movies of the movie is over. Now that theme does not belong to thrillers alone.

Earlier, the movies used to be sequential. It maybe a narration but it does follow in order. In the recent past, there are some movies which defy that rule. Take the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire' for example. The movie switches back and forth between the past and the present. There is not any hint to be shown that the movie is at the past or the present but with clever transition and the characters shown, it is implied. This shows that the audience is ready to accept the challenge and find out for themselves; it keeps their brain ticking.

One similar movie is the Inception, where it is clearly implied by the transition between the levels of the dream. The characters in each level makes the level unique. Though I have heard that the movie was confusing to some people, it has also won praises for its screenplay.

In the Social Network, it gets a little more complicated. There is no transition nor any change in the characters. The characters remain the same but only the scene changes. The quick transition could confuse the audience but the clever trick done by the director makes the screenplay interesting and that has won many praises for the movie. These kind of screenplay could not be followed for all movies but would be great if exploited for most of the movies.
