It is really a wonderful option of having status messages in messengers but some of them are really funny and I wonder why people use them. Some of the funny status messages I came across are
"I am sleeping. Do not disturb"
Why is he/she online then? Is the messenger capable of auto reply? Lol. He/she could sign out and sleep.
"Snoring!"
Ha ha ha... No comments. Same as the above.
These are just the ones I could remember. There are lot of funny comments I have seen in messengers.
Status messages could also be really useful. One can display the song he/she is listening. A simple wish in the status would suffice.
It is just that people are so crazy about the online world that they would want to stay online even when they are sleeping.

lol,. i too wondered abt this buddy,. but the answer i figured out was,. maybe they have so much of bandwidth and don't know how to finish them within the particular month :P ., yeah its not completely true, but partly i guess
hey u know why it is so ? .. In our country, internet is still seen as a luxurious commodity .. you have to worry about dl/ul limits etc .. so people who are fotunate enough to have a unlimited connection and also a personal computer ( i m meaning a computer which he/she can use for himself) .. they just want to show-off .. just like you wear the latest fashion accessory and such ..

Ha ha ha... it happens everywhere... for two months my mobile calendar read "Library cards" and I never bothered about it... :p
